What is covered by the warranty?
The elements of the furniture, hinges, drawer slides, handles, racks or furniture elements, bed slats, bought new by the customer. The accuracy of the assembly instructions supplied with the furniture.
What is excluded from the warranty?
Improper assembly, failure to comply with assembly instructions.
Misuse or improper maintenance, use of cleaning products not recommended by the manufacturer.
Natural or accidental disasters, fall, impact, light discoloration, burn, excessive heating, humidity, presence of insects, irregularity of the soil, natural variations between components.
Modifications, repairs or additions of items that are not part of the furniture or parts or components by the customer or by a person not approved by the manufacturer.
Use for professional or commercial purposes.
Corrosion and oxidation.
Damage due to transport as baggage.
Normal use of the furniture will result in cosmetic damage and normal wear and tear that the warranty does not cover.
Warranty Limitations: Theo ™ manufacturer warranty covers only the replacement or repair or replacement of components of Theo ™ furniture or accessories. The contents of the furniture are excluded, in particular all the goods which are stored in the furniture, the costs of assembling and cleaning and the damages of any kind related to the unavailability of the furniture or accessories.
Contents of the guarantee
Madei Creations Pte. Ltd. /Theo ™ warrants that Theo ™ furniture or accessory is suitable for the use for which the furniture or accessory is intended, under its normal operating conditions and when it has been assembled according to the assembly instructions supplied by the manufacturer.that the furniture or accessory corresponds to its description as communicated in the various printed or digital media controlled by Madei Creations Pte. Ltd. or reproduced by its distributors. Madei Creations Pte. Ltd. /Theo ™ warrants that the Theo ™ furniture or accessory does not have any defect in workmanship or concealed defects, having undergone the quality control at the factory.

So as to achieve a continuous improvement of its furniture, Madei Creations Pte. Ltd. /Theo ™ reserves the right to call, at its own expense, an internal or external expert to inspect the defect and its causes, and to propose the replacement of the components when the replacement of the furniture has a disproportionate cost compared to the repair, or to propose equivalent components or models according to the availability of the furniture concerned by the guarantee.
Duration of the guarantee
3 years from the date of delivery mentioned on the delivery slip, or on the purchase invoice.
Extension of the guarantee in the event of immobilisation of the property during its repair or replacement for more than 7 calendar days. Article L217-16 of the French Consumer code: "When the purchaser requests the seller to repair a movable property during the course of the trade guarantee which has been granted to him during the acquisition or repair of a movable property, any period of immobilisation of at least seven days is added to the duration of the guarantee which is remained to run. This period runs from the request for intervention by the purchaser or from the provision for repair of the property in question, if the provision is made after the request for intervention ".

Article L217-4: The seller is required to deliver a product that complies with its contractual description and is responsible for defects of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also responsible for defects in conformity on the packaging, the assembly instructions or installation when it was charged to the buyer in the contract or was carried out under its responsibility.

Article L217-12: The action resulting from the failure to comply is subject to prescription limit of two years from the delivery of the property
Extracts of the French Civil law on the matter of the guarantee on defects of a property or product sold:
Article 1641: The seller is liable for the hidden defects of the sold product which render it unfit for the use to which it is intended, or which so diminish this use , that the purchaser would not have acquired it, or would have given only a lesser price if he had known them.
Article 1648 First paragraph: the action resulting from the fatal flaws or defects must be brought by the purchaser to the seller within two years after the discovery of the defect.
